Conditions of Entry
Please review our car wash entry requirements before using the facility.
By purchasing, redeeming, or using any wash service at Adore The Car Wash, you agree to the following Car Wash Conditions of Entry.
GENERAL DISCLAIMER
Our express tunnel car wash uses automated equipment that makes controlled contact with vehicle surfaces.
Adore The Car Wash is not responsible for damage resulting from the condition of the vehicle or its components, including pre-existing damage or compromised parts.
In assessing any matter, Adore The Car Wash may rely on CCTV footage, entry and exit images, system logs, and transaction records, which take precedence over customer statements or photographs taken after the event.
Our equipment may be adjusted or retracted for items such as roof racks, bull bars or mounted accessories to avoid damage to the vehicle and our equipment. Despite these adjustments, contact with such items may still occur, and Adore the Car Wash accepts no liability for any resulting damage.
CLEAN GUARANTEE (REWASH ONLY)
If you are not satisfied with the cleanliness of your wash, Adore The Car Wash offers a same day rewash guarantee, subject to the conditions below.
Clean Guarantee Conditions
- Applies to wash quality only, not vehicle damage
- Must be raised before leaving site or on the same day as the wash
- Vehicle must be present on-site for assessment
- Original wash must have been completed in accordance with all instructions and signage
- A rewash may be provided at the discretion of staff
The Clean Guarantee does not apply to:
- Pre-existing stains, etching, or contamination
- Heavy mud, tar, cement, tree sap, bug residue, or industrial fallout
- Vehicles with excessive build-up unsuitable for an express wash
- Issues arising from failure to follow entry instructions or vehicle eligibility requirements
The Clean Guarantee provides a rewash only. No refunds, credits or compensation will be offered.
Providing a rewash does not imply fault or liability.
EXCLUDED ITEMS & COMPONENTS
Adore The Car Wash accepts no liability for damage to or loss of:
- Side mirrors, trims, moldings, badges, emblems
- Antennas, wipers, spoilers, roof racks, tow bars, snorkels, ladder racks, awnings
- Licence plates or plate covers
- Glass and plastics (including windscreens, lights, sensors, cameras)
- Aftermarket items (wraps, PPF, graphics, body kits, valve stems, non-factory accessories)
- Loose, taped, glued, fatigued, or poorly installed
- Items dislodged by dryers or blowers
- Vehicles with open tray beds or unsecured loads
- Mechanical or electrical failures occurring during or after the wash
PRE-EXISTING DAMAGE
Adore The Car Wash is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Underlying structural weakness
- Adhesive failure
- Broken clips or mounting points
Failure of components during the wash due to these factors is considered pre-existing and does not indicate the wash caused the damage.
The timing of damage alone does not establish causation.
These exclusions apply to both Wash Club Members and single-wash customers.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
Adore The Car Wash is not responsible for damage caused by failure to follow:
- Pay-station prompts
- Posted signage
- Staff instructions
Including, but not limited to:
- Windows or sunroofs not fully closed
- Failure to place the vehicle into the correct gear – neutral
- Brakes applied while inside the tunnel
- Misalignment on entry
- Driver distraction, including mobile phone use
Any incident or damage resulting from driver input inside the tunnel remains the driver's responsibility.
ROOF RACKS & SNORKELS
Vehicles fitted with roof racks or snorkels will have the buff retracted to prevent damage to your vehicle and our equipment.
You still get all the chemistry, care, and attention, just without the buff. You will receive a microfibre cloth to finish the job.
VEHICLE RESTRICTIONS
The following vehicles must not enter the wash:
- Vehicles with ground clearance below 120mm
- Vehicles with overall height exceeding 2100mm
Entry of incompatible vehicles is entirely at the customer's risk.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Before entering, customers must:
- Ensure the vehicle is mechanically sound
- Remove or securely fasten all non-factory items
- Fold mirrors where possible
- Retract or remove antennas
- Disclose any unusual modifications or vehicle conditions
- Inspect the vehicle before entry and not proceed if any component is loose or damaged
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Adore The Car Wash excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the facility, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
NOTIFICATION OF ALLEGED VEHICLE DAMAGE
Timeframe & Submission Process
Any notification of alleged vehicle damage must be reported:
- Before leaving site, or
- As soon as reasonably possible on the same day
Late notifications may be declined where verification is not possible.
Notifications must be submitted in writing and include:
- Vehicle registration
- Date and time of wash
- Clear photo of the alleged damage
Verbal reports to on-site staff, social media messages, or third-party communications are not sufficient for assessment.
On-site staff cannot assess liability, approve repairs or make compensation commitments.
Submission of a notification does not imply acceptance of liability.
ACCEPTANCE
By entering the wash tunnel or purchasing a wash (including subscriptions), you confirm full acceptance of these Conditions of Entry in full.
